How to Add Legal Policies in Weebly

Method #1: Embed Policy

Click Edit site on the Dashboard

Click Header

Select Navigation toggle and click Navigation Links

Click + Add navigation link on the sidebar menu.

Select Create a new page and type the policy name. Then, click Save.

Go back by clicking the left arrow button

Click Done

Click + Add Section

Under Organize, Click <> Embed code and choose your preferred embed code alignment.

Select the Embed Code section

Paste the embed code of your policy and click Done.

Then, click Publish in the upper right corner to apply changes.

Method #2: Display in a policy pop-up

This is a two-step process.

Step 1: Create a link to your legal policy on your website.

Click Edit site on the Dashboard

Click Header

Select Navigation toggle and click Navigation Links

Click + Add navigation link in the sidebar menu.

On Link to: select External Link.

Paste the URL and type the name of the policy on the corresponding fields.

Click Publish in the upper right corner to apply changes.

Step 2: Copy the script code from your WebsitePolicies account and paste it into the HTML section of the page.

Go back by clicking the left arrow button

Click Done

Click <> Embed code on the sidebar menu.

Click Embed code.

Paste the Display policy in a pop-up code and click Done.

Click Publish to apply changes.

Method #3: Link Policy

Click Edit site on the Dashboard

Click Header

Select Navigation toggle and click Navigation Links

Click + Add navigation link on the sidebar menu.

On Link to: select External Link.

Paste the URL and type the name of the policy on the corresponding fields.

Click Publish in the upper right corner to apply changes.

Method #4: Copy & Paste

Click Edit site on the Dashboard

Click Header

Select Navigation toggle and click Navigation Links

Click + Add navigation link on the sidebar menu.

Select Create a new page and type the policy name. Then, click Save.

Go back by clicking the left arrow button

Click Done

Click + Add Section

FOR HTML FORMAT: Under Organize, click <> Embed code and choose your preferred embed code alignment.

Select the Embed Code section

Paste the HTML format of your policy and click Done.

Then, click Publish in the upper right corner to apply changes.

FOR PLAIN TEXT: Under Organize, click Text and choose your preferred text alignment.

Select the text area section.

Type the name of the policy and paste the plain text of your policy.

Click Publish in the upper right corner to apply changes.
